Study course objectives
This course is the first of a series of three. Its basic aim is to provide students with the tools and resources to gain an understanding of Spanish grammar and modes of expression. The learning of the phonetic system, the elementary grammar, and some general cultural notions is meant as the basis for a comprehending use of the language. The course puts an accent on grammatical aspects as well as on the understanding of the language’s mechanisms, so as to provide the student with a sense of ease in any given real-life situation. Lessons are constructed around thematic units which contain texts, exercises, as well as descriptions of relevant grammatical aspects.
