The study course objective is to learn which methods, solutions and models can be used for successful management of innovations and technologies in companies and organizations. Within the course students will develop critical and analytical reasoning about innovation and technology management in the companies. The course objective also is to be able to analyze and solve problems that arise in organizations and companies which work with innovations and technologies.

The students will learn about the communicative aspects of translation.

We will consider certain historical and contemporary insights that have shaped translation as a communicative act.

For the individual study, students will have to analyze transators' decision-making considerations. Both  diachronic and synchronous perspectives will be discussed during the classes on the basis of translation criticism, translators' practical work.

For the exam, students will have written a 5 page paper (the introduction, main points, paragraphs, chapters, conclusions, bibliography) and will discuss their findings and the study approach during the colloquium.

1. To provide the acquisition of elementary vocabulary and grammar necessary for communication in personal and public environments.

2. To develop the necessary language skills to perceive and understand elementary information and opinions in spoken and written Russian language.
